ASK about the Bible is organised by a group of Christian parents to help people of any age to understand the Bible.

As parents we understand the things that children like to find out about so a big part of what we do is designed to help young people.  We also realise that as we get older there are still big questions that come up in life.  As Christians we believe that the most important questions are answered by God in the Bible.

The Bible is one big book, made up of 66 smaller books, split into two sections – the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Bible tells us that we all mess up (we are sinners) but that God still loves us and sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins on the cross at Calvary.  The Bible also tells us that anyone who believes in Jesus and takes Him as their Saviour will have their sins forgiven (we can be saved) and spend eternity in Heaven.

Probably the most well known verse in the Bible is John chapter 3 verse 16.  It says “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

We’d be happy to spend time answering any questions you may have about the Bible or the important questions it raises about our life and what happens after that.  Click here to contact us with any questions or to ask for a copy of the Bible if you don’t have one already.
